Sweetcorn
Sweetcorn powder is manufactured from mature whole sweetcorn kernels which have been pureed, drum-dried on roller dryers and then milled. The powder is 100% pure and does not contain any other ingredients or food additives such as corn starches. It is made to high microbiological quality levels.
The processing season runs from mid-January to the end of March.
Uses:
- Sweetcorn powder is used as an ingredient in the manufacture of packaged soups and sauces.
Pumpkin
Pumpkin powder is manufactured from mature Kurijiman Ebisu pumpkins, which are milled and drum-dried on roller dryers. The Kurijiman Ebisu variety is used because of its highly-desirable flavour, sweetness and deep yellow/orange colour.
The product, manufactured to high microbiological quality levels, is 100% pure pumpkin powder. It does not contain any other ingredients or food additives.
The processing season runs from early April to mid-May.
Uses:
- Pumpkin powder is used as an ingredient in the manufacture of packaged soups and sauces and is used as a natural colouring agent in pasta and flour mixes.
Tomato
Tomato powder is manufactured from tomatoes that have been pureed and concentrated. It is drum-dried on roller dryers and milled.
On reconstitution, tomato powder has a rich red colour typical of ripe whole tomatoes and a natural tomato flavour.
Uses:
- Tomato powder is used as an ingredient in the manufacture of many packaged foods such as dry and liquid soups, sauces, spreads, drinks, snacks and flavours.
