Cedenco Foods, Echuca

Cedenco Foods Australia is located in the town of Echuca , on the banks on the Murray River in Northern Victoria.

Echuca is of Aboriginal origin meaning 'meeting of the waters‘. The city was founded in 1853 and with the introduction of the railway in 1854 it became Australia's largest inland port. It is now home to the world's largest collection of paddle steamers. The region has a very warm Mediterranean style climate and is commonly known as the “Food Bowl” of Australia, recognised for producing the best fruits and vegetables in the country.

Cedenco under its subsidiary SS Farms, is the largest process tomato farmer in Australia. With an experienced agronomy team managing modern drip irrigation systems and growing the latest varieties most suited to tomato paste and dice processing.

The state-of-the-art Cedenco processing facility was established in 1996 and is the largest tomato processing facility in Australasia. It has been continually expanded since it was built and now has the capacity to process up to 2000 tonnes of tomatoes into paste and dice products each day.

Cedenco Foods, Tokyo

Cedenco Foods, through it's former subsidiary Sunrise Coast, established a liaison office in Tokyo in 1995.

The office is dedicated to the support of Cedenco products supplied to customers from its Australian and New Zealand operations.

The office provides customer services support in many areas including facilitating import entry and customs clearance, arrival monitoring, information exchange, promotion, product development, market research and any other service customers require.
