Maintenance Engineer - Hawkes Bay
Cedenco Foods is seeking to appoint permanent maintenance engineer to become part of our Hawkes Bay team.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for:
- Managing all maintenance in our Hawkes Bay factory
- Working with production staff in all plant and business improvement programs
- Managing the maintenance budget
- Engaging and liaising with third party contract and project engineers
The applicant must have the following qualifications and skills :
- Trade qualifications as a fitter/turner and/or maintenance engineer
- Be able to work with minimum supervision
- Be a team player with good communication skills
- Be Health & Safety conscious
- Have experience in working in a continuous improvement environment
Previous experience in Process Systems and/or the food industry would be advantageous but full training and support will be provided.
The position will report in the first instance to the Engineering Manager, based in our Gisborne factory and will be supported by the overall company engineering team. Work hours may include a requirement for rostered shift work during the main processing season.
Applicants may be required to undertake pre-employment medical and drug testing.
