Quality Assurance & Systems Co-ordinator – Hawkes Bay

Cedenco Foods is seeking to appoint a permanent Quality Assurance & Systems Co-ordinator to become part of a progressive team based in Hawkes Bay. The role has responsibility for the day to day quality assurance activities of the site.

As a member of the quality team you will have responsibility for:

• Ensure routine analysis of products to ensure compliance
• Dealing with non conforming raw material and finished products
• Maintenance and development of the HACCP and Food Safety Programmes
• Participate in teams to drive continuous improvement
• Maintenance and development of the systems
• Customer liaison

The role requires a person to have a hand on approach to quality assurance and the ability to develop a strong quality assurance function.

The applicant we are seeking will ideally be:

• Highly motivated and innovative
• Supervisory or Management experience
• Proven ability to manage working relationships
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Either tertiary qualified in Food Technology or similar or extensive experience in the food Industry, Quality Management or Quality Administration

The Quality Assurance & Systems Co-ordinator will need to be strong in:

• Quality Assurance systems and controls
• Staff training and support
• HACCP
