Plant Engineer Vacancy – Hawkes Bay

Cedenco Foods is seeking to appoint a permanent maintenance engineer to become part of a progressive team in our Hawkes Bay Operation

The person we are seeking is:

• A highly motivated and innovative individual
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• A team player with good communication skills

Do you have:

• Proven experience and the ability to diagnose, repair and maintain a wide variety of food manufacturing equipment.

• A desire for training production staff in equipment management.

• The ability to conduct root cause analysis and defect elimination.

Ideally the engineering applicants would have a Trade Qualification in

• Maintenance and Diagnostic or
• Fitting and Turning or similar.

The work is varied and interesting and would suit an experienced engineering trades person who requires little supervision and has a professional approach to their work. Previous experience in the food industry would be advantageous but not necessary as full training and support will be provided.

This position has a requirement for rostered shift work during the main processing season.
